Who is Ryan Patrick Gilroy?
I have my M.A. Degree from DePaul University in Journalism-Communication, minoring in
Photography, and a B.S. Degree in Digital Communications from Lebanon Valley College.
I am proficient in digital photography, journalism and communications programs utilizing elements from creative writing, design, business technology, programming, photography, videography, and social media marketing. I am skilled in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, InDesign, Dreamweaver and more.
Those are my tools. I use them to create memorable communications. I peak one's interest through visual and audible sensory cues; recognizing that good messaging is worth thousands of words.
What distinguishes me from others are my strengths in:
- exceeding goals and expectations
- creating memorable and successful communications programs
- getting measurable and timely results.
I am a contributor, a giver, not a taker. I genuinely care about my friends, clients, partners, and local communities.
I constantly strive for and focus on Communications for the Common Good to improve the social, economic, and environmental outcomes for their users. Communications for the Common Good connects us all by creating truly healthy, resilient and sustainable relationships
that will positively change our communities, and ultimately, our society and the world as a
whole.
But, aside from these credentials – Who is Ryan? At face value, I am socially respectable and responsible, but beneath a sartorial veneer lies a millennial imagination.
I challenge what you usually see and hear. I reveal my creativity through lyrical works
employing visual, audio and written communications for the common good with unrivaled insight, flair and verve.
